What if you’ve been asking the wrong people to tell you who you are?
That question has stayed with me all week.
Someone asked:
“Do you think my friends are embarrassed by me because of my disability?”❓
I understand that question.
Many of us have asked some version of it.
But I think there’s a deeper question hiding underneath.
When did someone else’s opinion become more believable than your own?
Think about it.🤔
How many dreams have been postponed…
Not because someone said “no.”
But because we assumed they would.
How many invitations have we declined…
Not because we weren’t welcome.
But because we decided we didn’t belong.
⚠️FEAR has a remarkable ability to write stories that never actually happenened
That’s why mindset matters.
Not because positive thinking changes reality.
But because honest thinking helps us separate facts from assumptions.
This week, I invite you to challenge one assumption you’ve been carrying.
Not with denial.
With curiosity.
Ask yourself:
Is this true… or have I believed it for so long that I’ve stopped questioning it?
That one question has the power to set you free.
🌱 Build With Intention
Today, write down one assumption you’ve made about yourself because of other people’s opinions.
📌Now ask:
Who told me this was true?
And even more importantly…
Do I still choose to believe it?
❤️ Create. Design. Build with intention.
Live with purpose.
