🎣Part one: How to get people to message you FIRST
How do we actually get these leads to message us first without us needing to spend hours on outreaching to these guys? It is simple, you need to create something that will MAKE them reach out to you.
I recently made a story sequence on Instagram where I had 14 stories in a row with new pieces of text popping up after a story. The information I shared on that story was actually something I dove deeper into on my full course. Therefore it was super easy to add a CTA of ‘’Reply ‘’COURSE’’ and I’ll send you over my free 2h course’’.
You see what this does? First you ensure they know the basics of what you preach, then you make them reach out to you to get the full in depth thingy.
It is all about making sure that you give so much value away first, before you actually add a CTA. I could easily put a YouTube link in my Instagram story with the text ‘’Watch my 2 hour course’’ or ‘’Join my … program’’. But the reason that doesn’t convert, it because no one actually knows what they can expect or what it is about yk.
With giving the basics, so a bit of value BEFORE the cta, people want to know more, and therefore reach out to you. Now obviously, this requires amazing story telling and good copywriting that piques curiosity and makes them CRAVE for more.
Also, apply this everywhere. Make sure people have a REASON to do something. I am not just going to do the dishes without the reason of ‘’Oh, otherwise it will stink and there will be mold.’’ or ‘’Otherwise it looks messy and it will get to my head.’’
People always have reasons to do something, remember this!
🙏Part two: How to actually make them love you in the chat
Okay, now they reached out to me, what do I do now????
Easy and simple: Give, give, give, without wanting something in return. BUT, there is a catch I’ll get to later.
When you got someone to message you first, wheter this is on Skool, Instagram, Facebook, I don’t care, but when they message you, you need to understand that they have a reason for it. They want to know more about the things you said. SO LEVERAGE THIS!!
What you need to do is not talk about something completely different. No, now you need to meet their expectations. Now you need to give them even more stuff so they know exactly what to do, okay?
But, make sure it is ALWAYS tailored to exactly what they want + need. Of course, I could also talk about fitness to a entrepreneur who never worked out a day in his life, but if I talked about fitness in a way that aligns with what they need and want to hear, this could be ‘’Working out improves your work ethic.’’.
Make sure you don’t share things that people don’t need to hear.
BUT!!!
I am more a fan of this approach, and oh my it works wonders to convert people to calls…
💘Part three: How convert love (chats) into calls
Okay, you gave them what they needed, now it is time to make them want you as a friend/person they love to talk to.
How to do this? Easy man, be a human.
Nah that’s it. No one gives a f about what you sell, no one cares about your service. If YOU make sure they love YOU, you will always win.
I had a chat with a very warm lead lately that booked a call, guess what we discussed about in the chat…
No, not about business, we literally talked about him travelling and me wanting to see some pictures when he got there, also about our dream cars, hobbies, things we like to do etc etc etc….
See man, just talk like you would with a family member or a friend. Because you trust them right? So why not do the same with leads?
😨Part four: How to make them feel SUPRISED by your call
Now okay, they love you, how to make them love you even more??
SWTS, Smell When To Sell
When you guys hop on a call after chatting about the weather for a bit or whatever, make sure you start with some small talk, and eventually move onto the real business chat.
NOTE: You should’ve prepared some FREE value for them to go over on the call based on what they want and need mentioned in the chat.
So on the call, you just want to have some small talk, them move on to the things that they mention that they struggle with and give them in depth insights on how to EXACTLY solve that struggle. SO make sure that after you gave that, they can implement it themselves aswell.
Now here is the secret, don’t even make an offer YET on this first call (unless you know a 101% they WILL buy, can be done by doing exactly like I just mentioned).
But do give him some action steps and therefore schedule the second call a few days later to check in on the action steps. And on this second call, give more shit for free.
Because you showed them that you are not pushy by selling on the first call, they are more likely to pull the trigger on the second call. ONLY IF you informed them about the fact you are going to make an offer either before the call, or at the beginning on the call. This way they are again, not in for suprises.
📞Part five: How to keep following up properly
‘’Ah shit, they declined my offer on the second call, let me ignore them.’’ or ‘’Ah, they will show up on the call, lemme just wait.’’
TERRIBLE mindset, stupid almost. Okay, they declined your offer, but NEVER stay quiet.
KEEP. SHOWING. UP!!!
That is what they tell you in these motivational videos right? Well do that. Make sure you show to your lead that you don’t give a F about the fact that they declined it, make sure you uphold the connection you guys have been building okay.
Trust me, this guy will eventually buy from you, he just needs some more warming up and he needs to see you dedication.
