πŸ˜” Community Crossroads: Thinking About Closing Down πŸ—‘οΈ
Hey everyone, I wanted to share something that's been heavy on my mind lately. I've been thinking seriously about deleting this Skool community. πŸ˜₯ To be completely transparent, over the past few weeks (and honestly, several months), I've noticed a significant drop-off in activity here. - Silence: πŸ¦— I'm seeing very few likes or comments on posts, even on topics that I thought would spark discussion. - Empty Seats: πŸ‘» I've changed the day and time of our community calls multiple times to try and find a slot that works for everyone, but attendance has unfortunately dropped to almost zero. I created this space because I truly believe in the value we can share and the connections we can make. ✨ However, maintaining a community that doesn't seem to be active or used is becoming difficult to justify. πŸ“‰ Before I make a final decision, I need to hear from you. πŸ—£οΈ If this community adds value to your life, or if you had specific expectations that aren't being met, please let me know. I'm open to all feedbackβ€”even if it's tough to hear. honest. πŸ’– I have a few questions for those of you who are still here: 1. What is your main reason for staying in this community? What value do you currently get from it? πŸ€” 2.Why aren't you participating in the discussions or the calls? (No judgment, just genuine curiosity! Is it a lack of time ⏰, the topics, the format, or something else? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ) 3.What's ONE thing I could change or introduce that would make you want to log in and engage at least once a Day? πŸš€ Please drop a comment below and share your thoughts. If I don't hear much, I'll have to take that as a confirmation that it might be time to respectfully close this chapter. πŸ™ Thank you for being a part of this journey.

Whatever you do, don't play piano! πŸ˜„πŸ˜„
I started practicing "Oh Holy Night" a couple of days ago. I'm using a lead sheet for this. I'm just playing the first part of the song, trying to get used to it. I think I'll be able to do well with it once I don't have to look at my left hand during chord changes. That is why I'm hesitating and making errors. @Chris Tangredi may have me arrested! Fingerstyle for guitar? A challenge!

πŸŽΈπŸ”‘ Using the Circle of Fifths for Key Signatures: A Detailed Guide! 🎢
Hey guitar enthusiasts! 🎸 Understanding key signatures is crucial for playing and composing music. The Circle of Fifths is your best friend in this journey! Here’s how it works: Understanding the Circle of Fifths: The Circle of Fifths is a visual tool that arranges the 12 notes of the chromatic scale in a circle. Each step clockwise moves you up by a perfect fifth (hence the name), and each step counter-clockwise moves you down by a perfect fourth. Key Signatures and Sharps (β™―): - Clockwise Movement: As you move clockwise around the circle, each step represents a key that adds one sharp to its key signature. ➑️ - Starting Point: Begin at C major, which has no sharps or flats. 🎡 - Progression: Moving to G major, you add one sharp (Fβ™―), then to D major, you add another sharp (Fβ™―, Cβ™―), and so on. 🎢 - Mnemonic: A common mnemonic to remember the order of sharps is: Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle. πŸ“ Key Signatures and Flats (β™): - Counter-Clockwise Movement: Moving counter-clockwise, each step represents a key that adds one flat to its key signature. ⬅️ - Starting Point: Again, start at C major (no sharps or flats). 🎡 - Progression: Moving to F major, you add one flat (Bβ™), then to Bβ™ major, you add another flat (Bβ™, Eβ™), and so on. 🎢 - Mnemonic: To remember the order of flats, use: Battle Ends And Down Goes Charles’ Father. πŸ“ Practical Application: - Learning New Songs: When you pick up a new song, check its key signature. Use the Circle of Fifths to quickly identify how many sharps or flats are in the key. 🎼 - - Transposing Music: If you need to change the key of a song, the circle helps you understand the new key signature instantly. πŸ”„ Visual Aid: Key Signatures and Sharps (β™―): - 12 o'clock (C major): No sharps or flats. 🎡 - 1 o'clock (G major): 1 sharp (Fβ™―). βž• - 2 o'clock (D major): 2 sharps (Fβ™―, Cβ™―). βž•βž• - 3 o'clock (A major): 3 sharps (Fβ™―, Cβ™―, Gβ™―). βž•βž•βž• - 4 o'clock (E major): 4 sharps (Fβ™―, Cβ™―, Gβ™―, Dβ™―). βž•βž•βž•βž• - 5 o'clock (B major): 5 sharps (Fβ™―, Cβ™―, Gβ™―, Dβ™―, Aβ™―). βž•βž•βž•βž•βž• - 6 o'clock (Fβ™― major): 6 sharps (Fβ™―, Cβ™―, Gβ™―, Dβ™―, Aβ™―, Eβ™―). βž•βž•βž•βž•βž•βž•
