WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL: Can You See Him?

One of the greatest dangers in the Christian life is becoming familiar with the things of God while slowly losing sight of Jesus Himself.

It’s possible to know the stories, read the Scriptures, attend church, and even serve faithfully, yet still miss the One those things are meant to reveal. That is exactly what happened to many of the religious leaders in Jesus’ day. They knew the Word, but they did not recognize the Living Word standing right in front of them.

This devotional invites us to slow down and examine our own hearts. Are our eyes fixed on Christ, or have they become distracted by lesser things? Are we walking in His light, or simply living off what someone else has seen and experienced?

None of us should ever be satisfied with secondhand encounters. The Lord desires that each of us know Him personally, hear His voice, and walk in the light of His presence every day.
