Throwback Thursday: First Car!
Tell us about your first car: What was the make/model? How old were you when you got it? How much did it cost? Stick shift or automatic? And include a pic (doesn't have to be the original one).

START HERE: Your First Steps! (Takes 3 minutes or less)
For those who are new, or have been here for a while, there are two simple steps to get started (or restarted) in our community: 1. Post an intro by answering the following two questions: Who is your favorite Muppet? What do you hope to get from our community? (If that's too much, just post a GIF of your favorite Muppet!) 2. Look for the daily pinned post at the top of the feed (either a writing prompt, poll, or just for fun) and comment - just one sentence if a paragraph is too much. That's it! Why Muppets, you might ask? Why not? I've loved the Muppets since I first saw them, and continue to laugh at outtakes from the original show and movies. Writing isn't easy, but having fun while writing might just be the push you need to get words on the page.

Creating Believable Characters Course: Week 3 Replay is Up!
Well Hello Miss Piggy level
I have to celebrate the Diva level. Miss Piggy, a true icon. The Muppet world would not be anywhere near as spectacular without her. I hope no one would be offended by saying she's the best drag queen since she was performed by Frank Oz and currently by Eric Jacobson, giving her that over exaggeration of femininity. She is a force of nature that won't let anyone or anything stand in her way. One of my all time favorite clips of Miss Piggy is when she helped ring in 1997 on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Her excitement for the ball dropping cracks me up everytime. And a special memory is that I didn't like Charles Grodin for a lot of years because he did Miss Piggy dirty in the Great Muppet Caper. Glad I got over that and could appreciate his wonderful comedic work when I was old enough to know he wasn't really a scumbag to Miss Piggy, just playing the character who was bad to Miss Piggy.
