143:Why do some practitioners cause certain uncomfortable sensations for their family members? What is the principle behind this?
Dr.Pang said: This is also a type of reaction related to Qigong practice. As students of Zhineng Qigong undergo training and are immersed in the energy field, their personal energy fields become stronger. In response, some family members may be receptive and feel very comfortable, while a small number may experience restlessness, coughing, insomnia, or even fever. These individuals are both sensitive and not yet accustomed to the energy field. They can be treated symptomatically and will gradually adapt over time. Interestingly, such people may progress relatively quickly if they decide to practice themselves.

142:I have been practicing Zhineng Qigong for three years, yet I still frequently experience numbness and heat sensations in my hands and feet. My teacher says these are "reactions", but can such reactions last for three years?
Dr.Pang said: Some reactions indeed persist over long periods and recur cyclically. Even some veteran instructors who began practicing Zhineng Qigong in the early 1980s still experience such reactions today. As long as you can sustain your practice, you should continue diligently, firmly believing that you can persevere and break through.

141:Sometimes I feel my body either light or heavy. At night, I often wake up with a burst of energy like a flash of lightning ,and my body seems to be non-existent. How can I make myself recover to normal as soon as possible?
Dr.Pang said: This indicates a heightened sensitivity. Feeling Qi sensations during practice is actually a positive sign, but due to nervousness, even a slight shift in consciousness can create pressure. What was originally not an uncomfortable sensation may then become uncomfortable, and increasingly so. The fundamental way to resolve this is to let go of it in your mindand simply observe it without attachment. Avoid mental tension, and focus on relaxing during practice. If you cannot rationalize it theoretically, then dedicate yourself to diligent practice. Consider how even severely ill patients can overcome their suffering through persistent practice—so can you not solve your own issues in the same way? Rely on unwavering determination and diligent practice to overcome this

140:I often struggle to concentrate during Qigong practice. Does this mean I’m not suited for it?
Dr.Pang said: Developing mental concentration is a gradual process. Some people find that as soon as they start practicing, distracting thoughts arise—this is precisely what you must overcome through diligent effort. As the ancient saying goes: “人一能之,己百之;人十能之,己千之。果能此道也,虽愚必明,虽弱必强。” "If others succeed by putting in one part effort, I will put in a hundred parts; if others succeed with ten parts effort, I will put in a thousand parts. If you can truly follow this path, even the dull-witted will become wise, and the weak will become strong." How profound this is! If you feel you’re not naturally gifted, simply push yourself with greater determination—that’s the key.

139:Why do I sweat excessively during or after Qigong practice (or even in daily life), despite feeling physically healthy? How can this be addressed?
Dr.Pang said: This could be due to excess dampness within the body. Don’t worry too much about it. Before going to sleep, set the intention to "seal" or contain your Qi—visualize energy gathering and stabilizing within your body. With consistent practice, the condition will likely improve.
