I've removed the word SHOULD from my vocabulary. I stopped "shoulding" on myself a long time ago and have replaced it with could. I could have done it this way. They could have done it that way. Notice how often you should on yourself. I quit “shoulding” on myself because it was just another way of judging myself. "Should” made everything feel as though I was doing something wrong. Should judges where I am. Could honors where I am and reminds me I still have options. You can create your own visual anchors to stop SHOULDING on yourself.
