Shaykh Salih al-Usaymi حفظه الله said: “So, whoever wants to possess knowledge, let him adorn his inner-self and let him purify his heart from its impurities. Knowledge is a delicate jewel and it is not suitable except for a clean heart.” تعظیم العلم 13

الوقتُ سَيْفٌ، فَإِنْ قَطَعْتَهُ وَإِلَّا قَطَعَكَ "Time is like a sword, if you do not cut it, it will cut you." A timeless Arabic proverb emphasising the urgency and discipline required in managing time. Just as a sword can either be wielded or wound, time can either be used wisely or become a source of loss. It reflects the idea that time is not neutral - it either works for you or against you, depending on your action or inaction.
