Quick note
New plan, some changes coming soon. I have to take my own advice and not try to be all things to all people. There will be regular content updates returning soon, but first, I will be trimming off and scaling back a lot of the store. I'll be focusing on the advice articles on creative production and tutorials, the stuff that you guys have directly told me is most useful to you. Thanks for being here and continuing to support me.

Return of lessons
Hey guys! Just curious to know if anyone was learning from the video tutorials I had been posting, specifically on digital illustration and self-publishing. Do you want more? Would you like them to come back?

Why Your Next Comic Should Be 4K Landscape
For decades, the comic book industry has been defined by the physical dimensions of a printed page. We think in vertical rectangles because that is how paper is cut and how shelves are built. Even as we moved into the digital age, the "vertical scroll" became the dominant format for webtoons and mobile reading. But as a creator looking toward the future of entertainment, I have started to ask a very important question: why are we still forcing our stories into vertical boxes when the world consumes media in landscape? Right now, I am deep in the production of my latest project, Moving Target. This project is a departure from my traditional work because I am building it from the ground up in a 4K landscape format (specifically 2560x1440px). This shift is not just about changing the orientation of the canvas; it is about fundamentally rethinking how we script, draw, and distribute our stories to meet a modern audience where they live: on laptops, televisions, and video platforms. For those familiar with indesign etc it will feel super intuitive. For new users with no prior experience..it is a very powerful tool with lots of nuance, but if you stick to basics you should be able to do some things easy enough.
It only takes one person to ruin it for everyone
Ok guys. Here's the thing. I don't want to do this, but I have to. I'm going to have to block someone and kick them out of the community. A member of the community has been emailing me, offering and even rendering services that were not wanted or requested and asking me for money. Then sending me a string of emails, frustrated that I am not responding. I haven't responded yet because I've been busy working, and they are emailing me every 20 minutes. I'm not naming names, but I'm posting this first while I go block them from my inbox and then block and kick them out here so that maybe they will understand why this has happened. For future reference, this is not the way to get on my good side or to create a business relationship or get money from me or anyone.
