Hi all, we are looking at selling our house & want to make the most of it. We have an agent coming to look next week so are frantically decluttering, painting & tidying. I have taken down family photos etc, what are you staging/decor must have? I have bought some cheap art from the Opshop & will add pot plants (I have some already) but what else should I look for? Vases? I saw a mirror i should have bought last week also (doh!) But open to other cheap & cute hacks. Maybe candles...

@Jo Minnery listing is live on TradeMe now! But I painted the bathroom (already had the paint so win), got some secondhand paintings/prints for the walls and a few cool candle holders and potplants we already have. Still have a tonne of tidying and packing to do. Plus sorting and donating! Auction on The 20th Feb...

@Jo Minnery none of the volunteers like sorting the actual stuff that comes in! I really enjoyed doing that. Its a fine line about finding something to do and not stepping on toes! 🤣😅

I scored a Free Phil and Ted's seat for my son! Was driving past a little junk shop that's hardly ever open and saw it outside so of course I stopped. There was a lady tidying (?) up the shop & there was a free sign on the seat so I checked with her & yes! Needing something for Griffin to sit in occasionally while im working.

The competition was fun… but now we’re back into our usual Thrift Insider flow — and for a group that’s only one month old, we’re doing amazing so far. 💚 I’d love to know: what would you like to see more of this week? @Jo Minnery thanks! Its a shared assistant manager role for maternity cover. Just trying to get some $$ coming in while my business is quiet. Still gotta read the contract etc but can start next week everything going well.
