Today's Expression: 「め と はな の さき」👀👃!?
🔤 Today's Expression: 「目と鼻の先 」 Pronunciation: め と はな の さき me to hana no saki Meaning: Very close / Right nearby / Just around the corner 🧠 What does it mean? Literally, it means “the distance between your eyes and nose.” Since your eyes and nose are very close on your face, this phrase is used when something is extremely nearby. Example 1️⃣ A:おかしたべたいな!でも、スーパーいくのめんどくさい… okashi tabetai na! demo supa iku no mendokusai… B:いや、いえからスーパーはめ と はな の さきだよ? iya, ie kara supa wa me to hana no saki dayo? 2️⃣ Son:あ〜。ねむい〜。がっこうおくれるかも。 Ahhh. nemui. gakkou okureru kamo. Mom:ダメ!いえからがっこうはめとはなのさきだから、ぜったいおくれたらだめ! dame! ie kara gakkou wa me to hana no saki dakara, zettai okuretara dame! 💬 Question Time! What’s something that’s 目と鼻の先 from your house?🏡

🚆🍶 The Lid Rule for Drinks on Public Transport 🍶🚆 In Japan, it’s considered rude to bring open drinks or drinks that can easily spill—like canned coffee or even cafe drinks with lids—onto trains or buses. Why? Because if your drink spills, it bothers other passengers. Especially on crowded trains. 😣 Here’s the rule to follow: ✅ Keep the lid on your drink while riding public transport. ✅ Drink it before you get on, or wait until you get off. Also, when you enter shops or stores, don’t bring drinks or food inside. This is to avoid spilling or making a mess on the products. Finish your drink or snack before going in. 🛍️🚫🍹 Following these rules shows respect and helps keep public places clean and comfortable for everyone. 🚨Is there any unwritten rule in your country??? Please leave a comment and share with me🌸
