Hello all. I have a question about a technique I have seen Sam do in many videos now. It is when he does a stroke with the index finger (I) at the same time as hitting the base notes with his thumb (P) to make a percussive sound at the same time as letting a note ring out. I have tried to do this myself, but every time, I seem to be either beating the strings and/or muting the notes. If anyone has advice on how to properly do this technique it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi everyone ! Sunday breakfast transcription closing ! Bon appétit 😉 I was trying to arrange this OST, a magnificent, cult-classic piece of music from the very first anime I fell in love with for solo guitar. Since I love every part of the track, I started by transcribing the bass, rhythm, and lead guitar lines separately to see what I could keep for the final arrangement. It’s the first time I’ve gone about it this way, and it’s nice to play bass again, as it had been a long time since I last picked it up. The result is pretty good so far (to me ^^); I don't think I'll made a solo arrangement and will keep playing it as is or improvising on it ^^ The entire soundtrack for this anime is just amazing ! Any basist or guitarist should appreciate this one so i hope you will enjoy this one !
