Telephone Interview
I have been offered a telephone interview for an apprenticeship, what is the best way to prepare?

Congratulations on receiving a telephone interview! You can have your notes around you since they won't see your face but you have to act natural essentially when you answer the questions they ask you. Be clear and direct with any points you make. Essentially, just treat approach the telephone interview like a standard interview. Hope this helps.
Company research advice
HI all, I'll be applying to degree apprenticeship in the financial sector and I am aware that research needs to be done on the companies you apply to, but I'm unsure on what exactly I need to looking out for when researching these companies. what should I be looking for in my research?

Hi Tegan, here is what you should research for any company: - Core values (memorise these ideally) - 1-3 Projects you genuinely like that you can talk about well enough - What does the business do, what's their mission - Market size - Recent news about the company - Key Leaders, CEO and their tag line - How it differs from their competitors Hope this helps.

@Tegan Aikens What I mean by tagline is like the company slogan. Knowing the market size shows your understanding of trends and demonstrates business awareness alongside showcasing your enthusiasm for the role. Yes, your example is good enough as long as you can articulate yourself well enough in an interview setting by making those links through experiences you have done.

Hey Fareedah, it's entirely up to you to be honest. If you have an upcoming event or working towards a certificate, I would post that. If you don't have either, just go with an introduction. Keep it simple and to the point.

Welcome to VS Terry, what excites you the most about Finance?
I got an apprenticeship!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to come on here and announce that I am starting a Level 3 Junior Media Executive Apprenticeship. After achieving ABB in my A-Levels, I was eager to find an apprenticeship in the Marketing/Media industry. I’m excited for this new opportunity and to learn foundational skills about the Marketing/Media industry which I can apply in my future career. When initially searching for apprenticeships, I was more leaning towards a Degree Apprenticeship, but I figured that by learning the foundational skills in a Level 3 Apprenticeship will allow me to gain valuable knowledge of the industry and help me to further progress if I want to pursue a DA in the future.

Congratulations Emily, this is fantastic! Any level apprenticeship is always good and there's always an opportunity to move to a L6 after your L3 finishes.
