@Eliya Chang The older we get, the more afraid we become of making mistakes. But what’s so bad about mistakes? I thought soft pastels were my style. I loved lots of water and soft, airy colors. Until one day, someone told me, 直到有一天,有人跟我說: “You don’t really use dark colors.” I realized I was afraid dark colors would ruin everything. So I played it safe. Maybe we do this in life too. But kids don’t think that way. They pick a color and just paint. They don’t worry about getting it wrong. They’re just trying. So I want to be brave enough to try. Even if a dark stroke ruins it, I’ll know better next time. Because every mistake helps me grow.
