Once a book is created, it can continue working for you long after you've finished writing it. 📚 Paperback & Ebook Results - Lifetime Royalties: $68,057.75 🎧 Audiobook Results - Audible doesn't make it easy to calculate lifetime earnings because I'd have to download and total every royalty statement individually. However, based on my historical average royalty earnings per sale under the previous royalty model, I've had nearly 17,000 audiobook sales/downloads, which puts my estimated audiobook royalties at roughly $60,000+. 💵 Combined Estimated Lifetime Earnings - Books (Paperback + Ebook): $68,057 - Audiobooks (Estimated): $60,000+ - Total: Over $128,000 in approximately 3 years Is that enough to replace my day job today? No. But has it helped create more financial freedom, additional income, and opportunities that wouldn't have existed otherwise? Absolutely. The biggest mistake I see people make is waiting for the "perfect" time to start. Every month you delay publishing is another month your future books aren't out there working for you. I’m just an average person on the internet with a full-time job, a busy schedule, and I’m also a mom to a 4-year-old on the spectrum. Life is full. ❤️ Since shifting a lot of my focus toward building this Skool community, that has been taking up most of my extra time outside of work and family. Because of that, I actually haven’t published a new book in over 6 months. But here’s what I think is pretty cool… the books I already published are still working for me. So far this year: 📚 Paperbacks + eBooks: $8,379+ 🎧 Audiobooks: ~$9,000+ 💰 Total: Over $17,000 in royalties this year That’s why I love publishing. You put in work upfront, create something that can help people, and over time those books can continue bringing in income while you focus on other areas of life. For the second half of this year, I’m planning to shift more energy back into publishing because it’s still my strongest income stream. I’m sharing this because I hope it encourages you. Even if you already have a full plate, you don’t need to wait for the “perfect” time to start. Most books don't fail because of bad content. They fail because nobody can find them. Your title and subtitle are doing 80% of the heavy lifting before anyone even opens your book. If your title doesn't tell the reader exactly what they're getting or your subtitle doesn't include the right keywords... you're invisible on Amazon. 💥 Doesn't matter how good the content is. Think of your title like a search query. What would someone type into Amazon if they wanted your book? That answer should be in your title or subtitle. Content gets reviews. Titles get sales.
