What am i doing wrong
Hey folks, Im feeling that since gpt 5.6 came out that ive got a lot less effective. 2 months ago with claude sonnet i stated my goal and told what i wanted and got the outcome more or less straight away. Now im finding myself spending time stating and refining my goal, slicing the goal in small tickets and it feels like im not making progress at all. Anyone else having the same experience?
The Clief Notes AI is live 📣
It’s live. Starting today, everyone in Clief Notes has access to the new Clief Notes AI. The easiest way to use it? Don’t overthink it. Ask it the question you would normally ask me. “Where should I start?” “What should I focus on next?” “Where did you talk about [topic]?” It’ll use what’s already inside Clief Notes to help answer you and point you toward the right lesson or resource when there’s something worth going deeper on. The goal isn’t to give you another AI tool to play with. It’s to make everything already inside this community easier to actually use. If you want Access to it Comment "READY" and we'll send you access to it!

Clief Notes AI Shout
A few days in. Starting to see where the Clief Notes AI is actually becoming useful. Some of you are using it to figure out where to start. Others are asking specific questions and getting pointed back to lessons or drops they didn’t even know existed. And some are basically using it as search: “Have we covered this before?” That last one alone saves a lot of scrolling. @Anthony Brady shared a really good example of how he’s been using it. He said the agent has been helping him find the right lessons, figure out where to go next, and actually apply the material to what he’s building. He’s even been pushing it with harder questions, and when it doesn’t know something, it tells him instead of just making something up. What I really liked was how he described using the tools together: The agent helps him navigate. NotebookLM helps him go deeper. And Decster keeps him moving through the course, completing assignments, and staying active in the community. That’s exactly what we want this to become. Not another AI tool you open once and forget about. Something that actually helps you use everything already inside Clief Notes and keep moving forward. We’ve also caught a few questions where the agent could’ve pointed somewhere better. Keep sending those. The more you use it, the better we can make the experience. This thing should get more useful as we see how you actually use it. If you haven’t tried it yet, start simple. Ask it the next question you would normally post in the community. Have you tried it already? If not, comment “Navigator” and I’ll send you access to it.

Win - AI Consultation ($30k+)
Following along here, I have just secured a very large project. "Turn our messy internal documents into an ICM system allowing us to automate large swathes of manual admin". Before I met with the prospect, I'd been re-watching and reading everything that's going on in this community. I wouldn't have had the confidence or baseline knowledge to approach a project like this without this group! I wanted to pass on a huge thanks to Jake and the team. I'll share what I am building (as much as I can) and no doubt I will have a ton of questions!

What Yoga Did for the Body, AI Can Do for Thinking
A machine just helped a mathematician crack a problem that had been open since 1939. And a few years back, chess engines quietly got better than every human alive. Most people read stories like these as "the machines are thinking now, and we're on our way out." I think that's the wrong read. And it reminds me of something I watched happen with yoga. When yoga came to the West it looked strange, and it got sold as stretching. What it really did was hand a whole culture a new way of paying attention — to breath, to sensation, to staying with something instead of rushing to fix it. Fifty years later that's just normal. Except it also got flattened into leggings and pose competitions. Same practice. Two completely different relationships to it. AI is at that exact fork right now. You can let it hand you answers until you stop wondering. Or you can let it take the busywork and free you to think at a level you couldn't reach before. Same tool. Your call which one you're building. Wrote the longer version on Medium if you want to sit with it: https://medium.com/@gabeyoga/what-yoga-did-for-the-body-ai-can-do-for-thinking-e4a115f0ac99?sk=a35c579a465d6080c41d2f41d2b63f54 Curious where you all land — is AI making your thinking bigger, or quietly doing it for you?

Really good view on this. For me it seems that it's going like described in the former part but still you have to keep an eye on where you get sloppy with the control/review and accept changes without really thinkkng about them. I think thats part of the learning-journey when working with AI.
