Today’s Phrase: “Is maith liom…” Meaning: I like… This is one of the most important phrases for expressing your preferences in Irish. 🔹 Key Structure - Is maith liom… — I like… - ní maith liom… — I don’t like… - To add a verb, use a + verbal noun (ex: a léamh — reading) 🔹 Useful Examples 1️⃣ Is maith liom Gaeilge. I like Irish. 2️⃣ Is maith liom ag siúl. I like walking. 3️⃣ Ní maith liom caife fuar. I don’t like cold coffee. 4️⃣ Is maith liom a bheith ag foghlaim gach lá. Dia duit. I love learning languages and began on Duolingo but I learn better with fluent speakers teaching. I just adore Ireland, I have family from there. I also have a friend learning Gaelic, so we decided to learn together. Thank you for letting me join!
