Why am I having such a huge spike in heart rate at 10-11 minutes into my 5k. It’s happened twice now but the effort between before it spikes and after feels the same. Is it that I’m hitting the lactate curve? Or is there another reason?
Finally felt great and training is paying off. Probably could have gone a little faster at the end but I knew I was going sub 20. Also I didn’t mean to lap it at .15.
