Hey everyone! New here and excited to be part of the group. I spend most of my time helping people with custom 3D models and fixing STL files so they print properly. I’m curious — for those getting started with design, what part feels the most confusing right now?
@Ben Haywood Yeah, I’ve tried it. It’s a clever tool, especially for image based and decorative prints. I mostly focus on custom and functional modeling though, so I tend to rely more on Blender and Fusion for the kind of work I do.
@Joe Gale That’s the fun part honestly fixing issues teaches the most. A lot of print problems come down to the model itself, and that’s where things can get stubborn. I do a lot of work reworking existing files so they actually print the way they’re supposed to. If you ever hit a model that won’t cooperate, feel free to reach out 👍
