I’m getting back online as an affiliate marketer. And this time, there is one thing I already know about myself. I do not want to build my business around filming myself all day. I can do video. I have had success creating content on TikTok and LinkedIn. What I enjoy is figuring out what someone needs, breaking it down, and creating content that helps them get a result. What I do not enjoy is setting up the camera, recording take after take, editing video, second-guessing it, and turning 1 post into a whole production. I am an overthinker. Give me a video to create from scratch, and I can find 27 things to think about before I ever hit post. And there was another thing I had to admit. For all the content I have created over the years, I have never been very consistent about using Reels in my feed and Stories. I want to change that. But I also know myself well enough to know that forcing myself into a content routine I do not enjoy probably is not going to last. So I am trying another way. I’m starting with premade faceless Reels The key for me is that I am not planning to take a premade Reel and simply post it as-is. I want the Reel to do the part I do not enjoy doing. Give me the visual. Give me the starting point. Then I can add the part I am good at: - the message - the teaching - the hook - the caption - the connection to the offer - the CTA That is a system I can actually see myself using. Find a Reel that works as the base. Make a few changes in Canva. Add my message. Post it. Move on with my day. And because I am testing this myself, I am going to share what I learn with you here inside Five Star Life Club. What works for me. What I change. What I notice. And probably a few things I overthink before reminding myself why I started using premade Reels in the first place. Then the 25-year educator in me showed up Because I knew I could not add 144 Reels to the Classroom and say: “Here you go. Figure it out.” I know exactly what can happen next.
