What is your next video topic?
I’ll go first. I’m working on a video about how to narrow down your niche to something that you’re good at, that you like, and that people might pay you for! This will be integrated into the Niche Finder course in the classroom as well as available on YouTube. Next in the pipeline, I’m thinking some “AI for YouTube” videos. Thoughts? What video are you working on now? What’s next up after that?

@Lindsey Ciarrocca love it! I haven’t used YNAB myself but I dabbled with some personal finance content at one time and love the idea of helping others who are seeing to improve their finances (and hey, it’s a great niche as far as CPM/RPM once you get monetized!)

@Keri Lane nice! Are these ideal for listening to while meditating? How often do you post a new video?
What obstacle have you recently overcome?
When it comes to your YouTube channel, what's one big hurdle you were able to clear? Maybe it was uploading your first video... Maybe it was learning a new software for editing or making thumbnails... Maybe you hit a new record for views or subscribers... No matter how big or how small, I would love to hear about your recent YouTube wins!

@Tharun Gowda glad we could cover these topics in our call yesterday!
Introduction!
👋 Hello Everyone! Excited to Be Here! Hi, I’m Tharun from India. I’ve recently joined in this "NewTubers YouTube Collective" community with a strong intention to build and grow a successful YouTube channel step by step starting from scratch to scale up. I’m here to learn, take action, stay consistent, and grow along with like-minded creators. Looking forward to sharing my progress, asking questions, and learning from everyone’s journey here. I had a 1-to-1 live online session with the admin, and honestly, it made me feel very confident and happy. The clarity, practical insights, and real-world guidance I received were extremely valuable and eye-opening. It gave me a clear direction on how to start YouTube journey the right way. Grateful to be part of this amazing community. Let’s grow together 🚀📺

It was great to chat with you @Tharun Gowda and to learn more about your goals for your YouTube channel! I’m glad we were able to cover how to come up with content ideas, different strategies for making faceless YouTube videos, generating voiceovers, creating slide show presentations, and more! Looking forward to helping you grow 😎

@Jes Solo Yes! I need to do more on this. So far I made a video talking about the YouTube Create app which gives you access to royalty free music. I think I will be editing my videos in CapCut (my preferred video editor for now) with everything except background music, and then load that file into YouTube Create to add the final music. The music and pop-up animations in the video all came from the YouTube Create app. If you haven’t seen the video already, here it is: This New Youtube App = EASY MODE for Content Creation

@Jes Solo finding music you can use for free is half the battle, and then actually adding it and mixing it/fading it in the video is another thing. Finding it: - right now I recommend using the YouTube create app / YouTube music library. This music is totally free, and you don’t have to add anything in your video description to have a free license for the music - In the past I have used music from the CapCut library, however I would occasionally have copyright issues. Sometimes slowing the track down and changing the pitch would get around that, but I’d rather avoid any potential issues if possible - There are other paid services for music where you don’t have to add a license in the video description. One that I have used in the past is called Melodie (website: https://Melod.ie fyi I am not an affiliate or a sponsor for them) and they have a pretty solid music library, plus you only pay one time

@Jes Solo which items are you having trouble with

@Jes Solo gotcha. there are lots of good lights and tripods out there. I was just providing links to what I have used, but I think just looking at the ratings and number of reviews gives a good idea of what is good and what isn’t
