The Women in Tech (W.I.T.) is an initiative designed to support and empower women to enter and grow in the technology industry. In short, it focuses on three main areas: - Learning – providing access to digital and tech skills training - Mentorship – connecting women with experienced professionals for guidance - Opportunities – helping participants find jobs, internships, or start their own careers in tech The goal of W.I.T. is to reduce the gender gap in technology and give women the confidence, skills, and support they need to succeed in the digital world. We promote diversity and neurodiversity, including a dedicated 55+ programme, helping older adults confidently transition into tech through tailored training and support. We also run W.I.T. Kids, designed for children aged 4–11 and 11–17, including those with SEN and ADHD. The programme teaches: - Science and digital skills - Programming and coding - How to create and present a pitch - How to build and develop a business idea Our mission is simple: make tech accessible, inclusive, and empowering for everyone.
