I'm trying to figure out how to take a 2D image and extrude it a certain thickness. Specifically, images of a tennis ball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer ball. I want the seams to be not as high as the rest of the ball. I tried STL Buddy's text to image, but it ignored the 'start with a flat image and extrude it to [a certain height]' part and made me a tennis ball globe 3D model. Great, but not what I asked for. If I convert it from the image to an SVG then open it in a slicer, it's a square with the ball embedded in it. It looks good, but it's a square not a somewhat flat surface. Any idea how to do this with ChatGPT and STLBuddy? ChatGPT generated great looking flat images to use. I just need to figure out how to extrude them to 1.8mm seams and 2mm for the body of the ball.
