Childlike faith
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him! * * * Romans 8:15-17 (MSG translation) My prayer is that you might be like a child looking up to Father God daily full of expectation and trust for Him to guide you throughout your days. Your Papa loves to spent time with you, to heal you, tell you how much you are loved, to bring you in on this adventure with Him. Seek Him, His presence is like heaven. That is where everything shifts.

@Thubelihle Mhlanga love this! This is such a powerful principle. I've been pondering a lot how it looks like to give Him my firsts. Of my day, week, month, year, money, attention - truly transformative

Hi Willemijn here from the Netherlands 👋 Already a few years ago I've build a sheet for myself. With my goals, dreams, powers, but also a habit tracker and focus points for the year. This helped me a lot in overcoming health challenges (almost there), and structure overtime helps to build this discipline. One of the items is obedience: what is important to God is priority to me. And undivided attention: getting rid of distractions and giving God my first focus, in my day, week, month and year. It is cool to see that where I first struggled a lot, now many points are integrated in my daily/weekly rhythm. It gives such a peace. Distraction and dealing with pain (health issue) is still a daily struggle/choice. I would love to see how others are building their lives with God:)

@Gospel Mentality thanks, it has been a journey haha. I just love learning and growing together. Im also open to see if and how I can support others in this group. I've created a system for myself, combining goals, profecies, longings, habits, reflection and faith. And im looking to transfer that into a model which I can share with others to consciously build their lives up, become healthy, overcome distraction. For me that was born out of 2,5 years of being sick, I needed to learn to reconnect with my emotions, learn to trust my body, overcome some trauma and more. But Im grateful for what I've learned through that, and it deepened my relationship with God. I still have chronic pain, rooted in neglect, but its something I believe I can overcome as well together with God. And even when not, I feel so carried and loved, my heart flows over to share about His goodness. He is enough.
