question
I cant seem to understand the difference with or the benefits of using the project folders vs the folders you create on your pc's hardrive. Understood that projects also holds instructions but so can the folders with skills. Can you clarify that for me! Although I create things with claude, my brain is stuck there 🀣

@ValΓ©rie Tremblay, that's a question a lot of smart people ask! If you're using Claude (Cowork/Code), there is no difference because the project folders are on your hard drive. The folders are useful to limit Claude's focus because too much information leads to wasted tokens and confused responses. If you're using Obsidian, that's just a nice way of looking at the files and folders on your hard drive, but it's not different. It makes the Markdown files prettier for humans to read. Does that help?

Not crazy at all, @ValΓ©rie Tremblay! Hope the cleanup goes well…

Introduction
Have been lurking for weeks online looking at all the info about AI and it’s good and bad. I’m a physician and am looking for a way to incorporate AI into my daily workflow. My main goal is to take a diagnosis get as much info I can about from multiple sources: UpToDate, New England Journal, AAFP etc. Have AI/Claude distill it and have the ability to use the info either at bedside or clinc. I have been my β€œsecond brain” for years, but with all the info coming and changing it is getting hard to keep up!

Welcome, @Jeffrey Miller! What a terrific use case. Once you get that up and running, you may find a tool like Mempalace allows for cheap / easy semantic search across all the articles. https://github.com/MemPalace/mempalace Do you have a format for your second brain that allows it to grow over the years, or is it mostly a personally curated collection of articles?
Codex?
Just curious if anyone here uses Codex as well. It seems that Codex is Cowork and Code in one app. I haven't jumped fully into either one so curious to see what what the community thoughts are.

Haven't tried it yet, but some of the coders I know have switched and swear by it. If you try it, please let us know how it goes, @Keith Green
