Fluffing
Hi all, I would just like to know what is a good frequency to fluff out the worm bin? I have read it should be once a week? I feel the urge to do it more but I don’t want to overdo it and disturb them! Thanks in advance ☺️

@Cherene Packard That’s what I was thinking, you seem to fluff them up often in your videos so that got me thinking! I am approaching 15 worm bins so 1 or 2 a day sounds good 😌

@David Humphrey , great advice, thank you! 🙏 I will try something like that! 👏
Unprocessed after sifting
Hi everyone, I am new to the community and would like some assistance please 🙏 I need to sift out these worm castings but it seems like when I sift, I only get 1/4 fine worm castings which is great but I land up having to throw the rest back into the bin to break down further, is this right? It looks very chunky and unprocessed… Is there a way to break down everything faster? What can I do? @Cherene Packard , your assistance would be greatly appreciated 🙏

@Cherene Packard thanks for this, I am happy that nothing is wrong! Just one question, should I still feed these bins or should I leave the worms to break down everything and then only feed again once most has been converted into castings? 🙏

@Cherene Packard thanks so much! I appreciate your feedback, I will do as you say, feed once or twice but let them feed on a lot of this existing stuff too! 🙏

Cycad, cactus and succulent grower who is fairly new into worm farming! Would love to learn more and get as much worm castings made as possible!
