@Tim Harwick you can lock out for a specific amount of time, or you can set until the end of the session. Once locked you can't unlock. Its actually a really good way to not allow yourself to give back a great $200 successful trade or eliminate the tendency to go on tilt. The best medicine is *actual discipline* , this is like a crutch or a sling, just a tool to assist.
Advice on passing 50K eval
Hello! I have been trying to pass my 50k eval for the past 43 days now. I almost passed it but then almost blew it as well. Since then, I have only been trading 1 contract per trade on MES fearing I would blow my account. My drawdown is currently 700+. My # of trades vary from 3-10 per day. I have not blown my account, and I make profits but on red days it's really bad and back to square one and feel like I am going nowhere with just one contract per trade. Any tips/advice from those who have gone through the same? How long did it take you to pass 50k eval? Also don't want to trade ES for now. Thanks so much!

@Enidrac Asolled I’d be less fearful of losing the account & more focused on consistent approach to best set-ups and limiting yourself to one trade per day in fresh demand or fresh supply. If you’re no closer to passing an Eval at time of monthly renewal, there’s nothing wrong with cancelling and practicing paper trading an account from 50k up to 53k with proper risk management, best trade set ups only, etc. Do it several times even. Kyle mentions “we practice in paper trades, not in eval accounts” in the Module 5, i think. It’s definitely a marathon not a sprint.
Passed First Eval
Passed my First eval today after about 15 attempts. Had a great Monday getting $2200 off First Son. Than got my last $800 this morning off First Son as well. Been over a year since I started learning. Took 2-3 month break from evals and stuck to paper trading to train myself to stay unemotional while trading. Excited to take the next step on this journey.
