About AI, …. I’m somewhat new to tapping it, I’ve used it to help me adjust recipes, find the best rental car, things of that nature, and it made Siri, and Google look, well, pretty antiquated.! It blew my mind. Then I started using it for research, and realized, for myself, that’s where the gold is. It is quite a treasure trove in terms of assembling and gathering information. I was talking to this fellow at Fidelity, and I asked him, Don’t you think it’s time to invest in AI? What do you suggest?” I thought maybe he would offer up the name of some fund, or a particular stock,(honestly not that I’m big on the markets, obviously, or I wouldn’t have to ask). He said that he tried it out with some calculations and that it actually made mistakes so although he appreciated its place and future, he didn’t feel it was quite ready, and there was no hurry. I questioned that to myself, I somehow thought maybe he made a mistake as AI is really quite fantastical. Then… I started using it for calculations for some Chinese metaphysical chart drafting for destiny analysis, sort of like drawing up an astrology chart. I had a copy of a chart in my hand, and then I asked my question, and it spit out all this information, but it was based on the wrong chart, it drew up the wrong chart! I thought uh oh…… now I can’t trust it. I told ChatGPT, (which is what I was using), that that’s not what I had in my hand and instantly it corrected it and said you’re right. That has happened also with my interpretation of some philosophical ideas that I was chatting with it about. I challenged it and it said that’s true. Again, I thought uh-oh. Nevertheless, I have not stopped using it, and I have not stopped using my own perceptions and interpretations either, which is good. So it’s not the knowledge God that I thought it was but it’s still astonishing and helpful. BTW, although it adjusted a recipe for me in my very earliest days, it failed to mention to me that I had too many strawberries in it, and it turned out to be a watery mess! 🤓 I was taking this dish to a potluck gathering, bummer! I went back and asked it later, hey that recipe did not turn out the way I thought it would, what’s up with that? It then revealed I had way too many strawberries in there and that’s what made it watery. Hmmm. We train it to work for us and it trains us how to think and ask better questions.
