Who's building?
Not supporting grind culture to work 24/7 and never take time off - but also realize the holidays are also a time founders and builders like me enjoy some time to build for the new year. If you're taking time off, what are you doing to relax/recharge? If you're taking this time of the year to build, what are you building? I'll be keeping tabs on the community through the New Year, along with some time off myself. For me, I'm taking a few days off and also funny enough, when building things that are fun to build, it doesn't feel like work. Spending a lot of time with Claude and Lovable these days, and prepping for a few producrt launches coming up. What about you?

I've been on a roll creating web apps and custom AI agents to help my clients get unstuck, get clarity on their goals, and set intentions... it's the new year after all. 😁
Claude Code > ChatGPT - Tools I’m Building with in 2026
Claude Code > ChatGPT #1 tool I’m going to be learning and using more of in 2026: Claude Code Other of my favorite AI tools and platforms I’ll be building with: - Gamma - Gemini (and closely watching whatever Google rolls out in their product suite) - Lovable - NotebookLM (from Google) - Zapier Agents - Make (maybe n8n too) - Suno - Descript - Pickaxe - MarketSauce (recipes) - Blotato - ChatGPT (especially for deep research) - WisprFlow - Plaude Other things I’m spending more time with not AI related: - pen - paper - whiteboard - sticky notes What about you?

Some thoughts and my favorites if you care to read: I think Google AI studio is much easier to get than Claude Code but if you're dev minded, Claude code is insane in it's capabilities (Claude code web with multiple "employees" running tasks and pushing to GitHub... like what? I am only limited by my own ability to delegate tasks). Loom & Gamma are how I create all my online courses and presentations for my workshops. I've definitely made more money than I've ever spent using those products. Pomelli AI by Google Labs is ridiculously easy to create quick social media campaigns. Yes, it's limited in scope but if you're ever in a hurry to create social media content it's insanely quick. If you have one of the AI plugins (Gemini, Claude) in your browser, then you can then create the captions on the fly (by having the plugin read the content/image on the page). Just taught my 16 year old how to do it so he could help me with stuff and start his own social media management business. The NotebookLM + Gemini integrations is next level and I'm so here for it. I don't use Make, N8N, Zapier, etc cuz I have a WordPress website and use FlowMattic and it does everything I've ever needed and more. But with that said, automation is everything. MCP's + AI agents in an automation feels like finding cheat codes. The "human in the loop" features make everything easy to automate to the max. I like using OpenRouter for assigning AI models because I find them all very useful for different things. For example, I still find Gemini Pro to be the best for pedagogical design, Mistral is amazing for creative writing, Chat is great for new ideas, Claude Sonnet is great for almost all business writing, Claude Opus for complex coding , the Amazon and Grok models censor the least and are the easiest to get around if you're working with content that could be viewed as socially unacceptable, and DeepSeek is so much better than the rest in getting a more world view perspective on things.
[IMPORTANT] Claude Mastery Sprint - January 2026
Hey all - important announcement for the month of January here at GenAIU. In my opinion (and I know I'm not alone)... If you're going to pick ONE tool to master this year, it's Claude. Not five tools. Not hopping between ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and whatever dropped last week. It's fine to use the other tools too. I do, and use all the tools I just mentioned every week, too. But lately as I've been going deep into Claude Code... it's become apparent, this is the tool I recommend everyone master if they are an AI-native agency or business operated. That's why this month, to start 2026, we're going deep and building real skills, real workflows and real business applications with Claude. Then you can apply that mastery everywhere else and pair Claude with other platforms to get even more out of it. Claude is different. And Claude Code is a beast by itself. Yet... Most people haven't even touched Claude Code. Haven't built a single artifact. Haven't set up projects or custom instructions. They're scratching the surface of the most powerful tool available. That's fine, if you're OK with being average. But if you're already using Claude or see others crushing it with Claude and feel stuck, then you're going to want to join this sprint. Also, I'm not here to sell you on the benefits of using AI in your business with this. You're probably already using a number of tools and by now if you've seen how we operate at GenAIU, have some understanding of why we are focusing on just one platform each month. That's why we're choosing Claude. It's a no-brainer. Why? Because Claude isn't just another chatbot. It's the backbone layer of your AI engine. Sales. Marketing. Operations. When you actually master it, you're not "using AI." You're actually building with it. One tool. Deep mastery. That's where the leverage is. This spring will last 4 weeks. 4 weeks. 8 workshops. January 6-29. Me and you in a group setting. Building. Tuesdays @ 10am CST: Claude Deep Dives Projects. Artifacts. Custom instructions. Claude Code. The capabilities most people ignore that create the most leverage.

I've started making web apps with Claude Code and it's insane how (relatively) easy it is. Thanks for bringing this to everyone. I can't wait to see how many people's minds are blown!!
