🌿 Herb Spotlight #1: Rosemary
🌿 **Herb Spotlight #1: Rosemary** 🌿 New little series for the hollow: one herb at a time. No homework, no tests, no "you must buy 40 tincture bottles." Just one plant, what it does in the kitchen, what people have believed about it, and one tiny thing to try. Tuck it in your brain or your tea cupboard — your choice. **Rosemary** has been hanging around humans for a *long* time. Greek students wore it in their hair while studying, it got burned as incense, tucked into wedding bouquets, and planted by doorways as a living "not today, evil" sign. **In the kitchen:** It's the "this bland soup needs saving" herb. Steep it as tea when your brain is buffering, toss it into roasted anything, or just open the jar and inhale when the goblin brain won't settle. **In the craft:** Rosemary's correspondences usually read as protection, purification, remembrance, and mental clarity. Burn a sprig to clear a room's energy (crack a window, please). Tuck dried rosemary into a little sachet for focus or safe travel. Or just hold some and think of someone you want to remember — "rosemary for remembrance" exists for a reason. **One tiny ritual — the doorway sweep (5 min, max):** Carry a sprig of rosemary around the edges of your front door, like you're drawing a line that only welcome things can cross. Stick the sprig above the doorframe when you're done. That's it. Threshold set. Now your turn: what's *your* go-to herb, and what do you reach for it for? 🌿
