Quick question
Are the statement date of my credit card and the date the report is made to the credit bureau that i paid on time the same dates or different dates?

The statement date and the date your current balance is reported to the credit bureaus is typically the same date. I'm looking at one of my credit cards as an example. So my Discover card reported to Credit Karma on 3/9/2026, and my statement date was also 3/9/2026. My last payment on that card was 3/14/2026, paying that month's balance in full. Since I paid the balance after the statement date, that amount is still visible on my Credit Karma, so it still looks like I'm using 10% of my card balance, even though it is technically paid off, and likely won't update on my credit until the 9th of next month.
