The wonder that we’ve been chosen and adopted”in love”(Ephesians 1:3-6) shows that our identity in Christ isn’t based on our performance but on God’s sovereign choice and loving purpose. Before we did anything to deserve it, God chose to make us His own. Like a child who is loved simply because they belong to the family, our identity rests secure in God’s choosing love.

This week, let’s examine whose voice defines our identity. Are we living from our new identity in Christ, or are we still letting old labels and past failures define us? Let’s practice seeing ourselves through God’s eyes, embracing the truth of who we are in Christ rather than who the world says we are or who our past suggests we must be.
