New Orleans update
Based on my current experiences, I'm going to pull back on doing random scheduled details about New Orleans. I'm going to spend my time with people who are 100% wanting to know about this trip. I'm setting up an invite only event soon. If you are 100% wanting to do New Orleans as a group then comet New Orleans below and I'll get you on the list. This will be an invite only group. This will not be at a link that will be public to this group. I'm looking for high intent. People who really want to know about this trip. Sorry this is not AI so this is my normal long-winded message LOL. Hope you don't mind!

New Orleans Trip — Let’s Lock This In
I’ve had a lot of conversations and comments come up around this trip, so I’m simplifying everything into one place. Here’s what’s clear so far: - People care more about where they’re staying than just price - Ease matters — not having to figure everything out - The experience (music, food, vibe) matters more than a packed schedule So here’s the direction: 👉 Small group 👉 Walkable location (French Quarter access) 👉 Option for roommate matching 👉 Simple, low-friction experience If you’ve been following along and this is even close to what you’d want: Comment NOLA and I’ll send you the full details. If you’re unsure, just say what you’d need to feel comfortable and I’ll help you figure it out.

New Orleans Trip – What Came Up Today (and What Actually Matters)
Had a small session today talking through the New Orleans trip, and a few things stood out that I think will help anyone who’s been thinking about going but hasn’t decided yet. 1. Hotel clarity matters more than price The biggest question wasn’t “how much?” — it was:👉 Where am I staying and does it feel comfortable? So I’m keeping this simple: – Moderate hotel option – Walkable location (French Quarter access) – Balance of comfort + cost – Roommate matching available if you want to reduce cost without sacrificing the experience 2. People don’t want to plan everything A lot of hesitation comes from: 👉 “How do I actually get there and move around?” So I’m building an optional upgrade where I handle: – Flights – Airport transfers – Getting you from your door → hotel → back home You show up. Everything else is handled. 3. The experience matters more than the checklist One thing that came up: 👉 Jazz / live music That’s not something I’m leaving to chance I’m shaping parts of the trip around it (especially Frenchmen Street and local spots). If you’re leaning toward this but just need clarity, message me and I’ll help you sort it out quickly.

🎷 First Official One Step Away Trip — New Orleans (Sept 2026)
...🎷 New Orleans is calling. September 2026. I have been sitting on this idea long enough. It is time to find out if this is actually happening. Here is what I am thinking for our first official One Step Away Travelers trip: New Orleans. September 2026. Small group of 8 to 12 people. Solo friendly, relaxed pace, no rushing around. Think live music, legendary food, real culture, guided experiences, and zero logistics stress on your end. Just show up and enjoy it. I am not building this until I know who is serious about it. So I need one thing from you right now. Just one word in the comments: 🔥 IN if you would seriously consider joining 👍 INTERESTED if you want details before deciding 👀 FOLLOWING if a future trip is more your speed ❌ PASS if it is not for you That is it. One word. Takes five seconds. If 8 or more people say IN or INTERESTED, I start building it this week. If not, it stays on the shelf and we move on. New Orleans is one of those cities that gets under your skin. The food alone is worth the trip. The music makes it unforgettable. Are you in or are you out?

🌍 Travel Guessing Game
Let’s do something fun. Post one photo from a trip you’ve taken — anywhere in the world. But don’t say where it is yet. Everyone else can try to guess the destination in the replies. After a few guesses, you can reveal where it actually was. A few notes:• Wrong guesses are completely welcome• If you want, you can drop a small hint• Even local trips count — sometimes those are the hardest to guess Travel memories are some of the best stories we have, so let’s see where everyone has been. Who wants to post the first mystery photo? 📸
