You can’t pour from an empty cup.
Good morning Warriors 👊 Following on from yesterday’s post about filling your own cup… Here’s something worth remembering: You can’t pour from an empty cup. A lot of men have spent years in survival mode: Pushing. Enduring. Getting through. But eventually the body, mind, or nervous system starts asking for something different. Not more pressure. More balance. Sometimes filling your cup isn’t doing more. Sometimes it’s: • Slowing down • Saying no • Sitting in the sun • Having a laugh • Letting yourself enjoy life without guilt That matters too. Today's quick reflection: What’s one small thing you could do today that would genuinely refill you a little? Let's keep it simple.

What fills your cup?
Good morning Warriors 👊 It’s Friday here in New Zealand. A good reminder heading into the weekend: 👉 Fill your own cup too. Not just physically. Mentally. Emotionally. For me, that looks like: • PT at the gym in town today • Watching my son play sport tomorrow • And Sunday… a lie in bed with a coffee instead of getting up at 6am ☕️ Simple things. But they matter. Because life can’t just be about pushing, surviving, and getting through. We need moments that refill us. Different things fill different cups: • Nature • Music • Good people • Quiet time • Sport • A laugh • Time alone • Doing something you enjoy What kind of things fill your cup? Have fun with this - by adding a GIF below.

The words we use matter!
Good morning Warriors 👊 Words matter more than most people realise. Because words carry energy. They shape identity. They influence how we feel, act, and show up. A small shift in language can create a big shift in state. Instead of: ❌ I want to get strongerTry:✅ I am getting stronger ❌ I need to be more positive✅ I am learning to focus on what helps me ❌ I’m trying to stay calm✅ I am becoming calmer ❌ I have to do this✅ I choose to do this ❌ I’m broken✅ I’m rebuilding ❌ I can’t do that anymore✅ I’m learning new ways The words after “I am” are powerful. Use them carefully. Because over time, your language becomes your identity. A simple practice today: Notice one thing you say regularly about yourself, and change the language. That’s where new thinking begins, Warriors.

Here is a thought - words create identity and so - Using a statement, which many of us do. - "that I am in a wheelchair' for example, is creating my identity. Do I then want to change that. Hell yes! Example I can use are: "I am a father" - "I am a husband" - "I am the Warrior" - "I am healthy and powerful" Love to hear your thoughts
What is your purpose?
Good morning Warriors 👊 Let’s talk about purpose. Some believe we all have one. Some aren’t sure. I’ll be straight with you, I believe we do. And I also believe it’s simpler than we make it: 👉 Our purpose is to suck the marrow out of life. To live it. Experience it. Use what we’ve got. But here’s where men get stuck: “I don’t know what my purpose is.” “I don’t know what I would love.” So nothing moves. Try this instead: 👉 You don’t find purpose by thinking about it. 👉 You build it by doing. Ask yourself: “What would I love?” Pick something. Small. Real. Honest. Then do it. When that’s done, ask again: “What would I love next?” Do that. Then repeat. At some point, you’ll look back and realise: 👉 You’re not searching anymore. 👉 You’re living it. Today's question: What’s one thing you would love to move toward right now? Start there Warriors 👊

Here's why intention is important!
Good morning Warriors 👊 Why bother setting an intention? Because your brain is already working toward something, whether you choose it or not. There’s a part of your brain called the Reticular Activating System (RAS).Its job is simple: 👉 It filters what you notice. If your focus is on problems, you’ll see more problems. If your focus is on possibility, you’ll start to notice options. That’s not luck. That’s how your brain works. Now layer this on top: Thoughts → Feelings → Actions → Results Your thoughts create how you feel.Your feelings drive what you do.And your actions create your results. And here’s the part most people miss: 👉 Your physiology affects your feelings. How you sit. How you breathe. Your posture. Your movement. If your body is tight, shallow breathing, closed off…you’ll feel anxious, frustrated, reactive. If your body is open, breathing slow, grounded…you’ll feel calmer, more capable, more expansive. Same situation.Different state = different outcome. So when you set an intention (a vision), you’re doing two things: 1️⃣ Giving your brain a target (RAS) 2️⃣ Guiding your thoughts → feelings → actions 👉 Simple practice today: Ask: What do I want to create today? Then: • Think in that direction • Breathe into that state • Act from that place Inner Warriors don’t leave their day to chance. They direct it. One thought. One breath. One action at a time 👊
