📌 Keep Them Coming
Good evening, Melaninaires. If you haven’t posted your routine yet, this is your reminder. Don’t fix it. Don’t simplify it. Don’t try to make it sound right. Write it exactly how you do it. And if you already posted, go read a few others. You’ll start noticing things you didn’t expect.

📌 Keep Them Coming
🪞 He Thought His Skin Was Getting Worse
A friend of mine started getting serious about skincare last year 😭. Not because anything was wrong, but because he kept seeing conversations online about routines, ingredients, and steps he felt like he was missing 📱. Before all of that, his skin was actually fine. Not perfect, but calm. No constant breakouts, no irritation, nothing that made him feel like he needed to change anything. He just wanted it to look “better.” So he started adding things. A cleanser upgrade, then a toner 🧴, then a treatment, then something else he saw people swear by. Nothing extreme at once… just small additions that felt like improvements. At first, everything seemed normal. No reaction, no issue. So he kept going. Added a little more, switched a step, tried something else. Then slowly… things started changing. His skin started feeling tighter. Then dry. Then irritated 😬. Now he’s looking in the mirror trying to figure out what went wrong, because in his mind, he was doing everything “right.” Being consistent, taking care of his skin, doing more than he was before. But nothing about what he was doing looked the same anymore. And that’s what stood out to me 😌, because before all of that… his skin wasn’t asking for anything new. 💬 Be honest… have you ever added something to your routine when nothing was actually wrong?

Type 4 Hair Stays Dry After Every Routine
Most people with Type 4 natural hair think dry hair means they need better products. So they add more. Layer more. Spend more. And the hair is still dry the next day. The problem is not the products. The problem is what happens before the products. Type 4 hair does not struggle with product. It struggles with water getting in and staying in. And when that step is not working nothing applied after it will fix the dryness underneath. This video breaks down why Type 4 natural hair stays dry even after a full routine and why most people stay stuck in that loop for years without realizing what is actually happening. Once you understand what your hair is actually responding to everything changes. If you want to understand what your Type 4 hair is actually doing visit The Rinoure Method. ❓Why do you think your hair keeps going dry even after you just did your whole routine?

📩 Decode My Routine | SHE SAYS SHE’S DOING THE SAME ROUTINE… BUT IT NEVER FEELS THE SAME
📬 RINOURE INBOX This might sound small, but it’s been bothering me. Hello, A friend of mine has been doing her own hair for a while now, and she keeps saying her results never last. She’ll finish styling it, and everything looks fine in the moment, but by the next day it feels like it’s already starting over. She told me she follows the same routine every time. Same products, same steps, nothing really changing. But every time she explains it, it sounds slightly different. Not enough to notice right away, but enough that it doesn’t feel exactly the same either. One time she said she sections her hair. Another time she said she just works through it. Sometimes she says she takes her time, and other times she says she just tries to get through it quickly. When I asked her to walk me through it step by step, she kept going back and forth trying to explain it. It was like she knew what she was trying to do, but not exactly what she was actually doing. Now she’s frustrated because she feels like nothing holds, and she’s starting to think her hair just doesn’t keep styles the way it should. I don’t know if it’s the routine itself or how it’s being done, but something about it doesn’t feel consistent. I just can’t tell where the disconnect is. — Zariah 💬 What feels inconsistent or unclear about this routine?

@Fanny Mitchell That’s a good catch. What you’re noticing is the difference between routine and execution. The steps can be the same, but if how they’re done keeps changing, the results won’t hold.
