Compassion as a Daily Spiritual Practice
Compassion is often thought of as a feeling—something we experience when we see someone hurting or going through a difficult time. But in a life of faith, compassion is more than a moment of emotion. It is a daily spiritual practice. Practicing compassion means choosing kindness even in ordinary moments. It’s listening when someone needs to be heard, offering patience when others are struggling, and extending grace when it would be easier to judge. Small acts of compassion can have a powerful impact. A gentle word, a thoughtful message, or simply being present for someone can bring comfort in ways we may never fully realize. When compassion becomes part of our daily rhythm, it shapes the way we see the world. We begin to notice people more deeply—their struggles, their hopes, and the quiet ways they may need encouragement. Living with compassion also transforms our own hearts. It reminds us to slow down, to see others with understanding, and to reflect the love that God shows to us every day. Compassion doesn’t require grand gestures. Often, it grows through simple, consistent acts of care. And when practiced daily, compassion becomes a powerful reflection of faith—one that quietly brings light, healing, and hope into the lives of those around us. ✨

Compassion should be the standard for all Christians. Jesus gave us the perfect example of what compassion should look like. If He lived a life filled with compassion then we should be no different.
Faith That Produces Fruit Over Time 🍎
Faith isn’t always about instant results. Sometimes, it grows quietly—like a seed planted in good soil. You may not see changes right away, but over time, your faith begins to produce fruit in your life. Patience, love, kindness, and perseverance—these are signs of a faith that is alive and growing. 🌿 Don’t get discouraged if things feel slow. God is working behind the scenes, nurturing your faith day by day. Stay rooted, stay consistent, and trust the process. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9 ✨ What fruit have you seen growing in your life lately?

I have seen discernment growing within me through perseverance. Waiting doesn't always mean "No" it could just mean "Not Right Now." He may be developing something in you or you may not be ready. Either way faith in the waiting is key.

Growth That Comes Through Surrender
We often think growth comes from trying harder, pushing forward, and holding everything together on our own. But in the life of faith, some of the deepest growth happens when we learn to surrender. Surrender is not weakness. It is trust. It’s the moment we stop trying to control every outcome and begin placing our plans, worries, and expectations into God’s hands. It’s admitting that we don’t have all the answers, and allowing God to guide the direction of our lives. Sometimes surrender comes during difficult seasons—when things don’t go the way we hoped, when prayers seem unanswered, or when we reach the limits of our own strength. In those moments, letting go can feel uncomfortable. Yet it is often the very place where God begins to shape something new within us. When we surrender, God works in ways we could never accomplish on our own. He softens our hearts, strengthens our faith, and helps us grow in patience, humility, and trust. The truth is, surrender doesn’t mean giving up on life—it means giving control to the One who sees the bigger picture. And as we place our lives in His hands, we begin to experience a deeper kind of growth—one that is rooted not in striving, but in faith. Sometimes the greatest transformation begins with a simple prayer: “God, I trust You with this.”

One of the things I have started doing is relaxing and going along for the ride that God has mapped out. Getting to a point where you are ok with not knowing the directions is so freeing. It's one of the hardest things to do if you are like me, someone who likes to be in control, but when you get to the point of surrender there is so much peace that comes with it.
Recognizing God’s Work in New Seasons
Life is full of seasons. Some feel comfortable and familiar, while others bring unexpected change. New seasons can sometimes feel uncertain—like stepping into a place where we don’t yet know what God is doing. But often, the beginning of something new is where God is quietly working the most. God moves through transitions. When one chapter ends and another begins, He is often preparing our hearts for growth, deeper faith, and new opportunities we couldn’t see before. What may feel like disruption can actually be divine redirection. Recognizing God’s work in a new season requires a heart that is open and attentive. It means pausing to notice the small ways He provides, the doors He opens, and the lessons He teaches along the way. Sometimes His work is obvious—new blessings, new relationships, new opportunities. Other times, it’s quieter: a change in perspective, renewed strength, or a deeper sense of peace in the middle of uncertainty. Every new season carries purpose. Even when we don’t fully understand where the path leads, we can trust that God is guiding each step. The same God who was faithful in past seasons remains faithful in the ones ahead. So if you find yourself in a new season today, take a moment to look closely. You may discover that God has already been working in ways you didn’t notice at first. And what once felt uncertain may become the very place where your faith grows the most. ✨

I believe that with every change in season builds a fresh new sense of faith. Because we don't know what God is doing, our faith has to be renewed with the change of the season in order for us to remain open to what God is doing. Blind faith in God is what we should all be striving for with each change in season.
