Congratulations
Picture worth a thousand words
They say a picture is worth a thousand words and that phrase can’t ring any louder for me right now with the physical changes seen in just 60 days (disregard the bed head and unshaven face πŸ˜‚). What the picture does not show is the mental impact produced as well. I decided a couple weeks in to add a personal mental challenge in for me with mentality and life productivity in general. One of the books I read during this was Atomic Habits and I would encourage you all to pick it up. As with most personal growth books, the information is not earth shattering revelation, but it does encourage and motivate you to adjust your way of thinking and your actions in life. One major premise of the book can be summed up with one quote from it: "If you can get 1 percent better each day for one year, you'll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you're doneβ€œ These tools can be applied in every area of your life whether it’s work, family, health, and most certainly with pickleball!!! So keep on keeping on folks and continue improving your life and the lives of those around you.

Sugar Detox
Yesterday I started a sugar detox. Because cravings are tough and I wanted to figure out how to reset my body… boy was the headache real. It’s crazy what sugar can do to your body and your mind. Here’s to day two! I’m not asking that it gets easier only that I get stronger.

2 times I did this, it took me a few weeks to stop having cravings. it wasn't easy for a month or so but after that I couldn't care less. with no sugar and low carb diet I lost about 80 pounds in less than one year, absolutly no gym or exercising, just no sugar and diet. Now I am trying to go back to that cause I still have to lose at least 100
