@Shahid Khan Yeah they initially decided to completely ban apks etc and they got backlash. Even googlers started bashing on Twitter openly and they created this stupid system that apks will work only when package name is registered on Google play. So everyone now needs to get a google play and put the package name there and not upload whole app if they want to keep the apk system to avoid google play reviews etc. There's been a petition going on but google has officially announced it as well and it will take effect from Sept 1 sadly https://keepandroidopen.org/

Good stuff man 🎉
How do you balance shipping fast with stability?
Hello We often hear “ship fast,” but how do you decide when a product is stable enough to launch? Shipping too early with bugs can hurt user trust, especially for first-time users. For founders who’ve launched before: What quality bar, checklist, or beta process do you use before shipping? Would love to learn from your experience.

Basically ship fast doesn't mean shipping half baked products. Ship fast means launching minimal working prototype. Notice the "working" part. Basically what this means is that you have an idea. Now you break that idea in features and then pick one feature and build that only and launch the product around it. Now you shipped. Just make sure that your one feature is stable and doesn't crash often. Bugs happen no matter how much you test and that's the part of what we do in coding but stability is basically your happy flows and errors or empty states are all good working. Now you can add more features one by one and keep shipping on each feature. In my experience once you launch something then it becomes a lot easier to add more features as you have the whole pipeline setup and rolling.

Don't start spending money right away on the ads. You need to optimize the app funnel loop first. You need to run experiments on pricing, icons, screenshots, ASO, and paywalls to see if the organic users (even a few) are actually converting to trials or not. So if you run ads and bring users by spending money and they don't start trials, then you are basically burning money. So you need to first optimize the funnel from download to trial and conversion first. For the organic marketing, check this https://www.post-bridge.com/growth-guide This will help you get started with organic marketing for apps on tiktok and instagram. This is how most of the indie devs are doing marketing on large scale without paid ads.
