Don't neglect your audience
Today I would like to say something about one of my negative experiences. I neglected my audience and posted videos that I thought they would like. That was a big mistake and my YT channel dropped from 3.3 million to only 800 thousand monthly views. Studying YT analytics I realized that 80% of my audience is over 45 years old, 70% are men and they prefer sexy jokes. My audience watches jokes in Serbian and Bosnian language, and my jokes were in Croatian language. When I changed this, the audience came back. This is exactly what Rob from vidIQ talks about in his video; "How to Beat the YouTube Algorithm With a Whiteboard" I hope this will help someone not to make a similar mistake.

@Mike Miller Thank you very much.
Another question to make you scratch your head
Is it worth the effort to create a long form youtube video and then create a short youtube short for that same video ? I know it will take more time and effort to record and edit. Trying to run both a youtube and facebook strategy. Or would it be better to foucs on youtube shorts ? my goal is to build make content that i can use on multiple channels, grow the channel quickly and pump out content. I'm a realtor my niche is people that are going thru probate and are considering selling a home that they have inherited. What do you think Trevor ?

I do this all the time, and every time I put a link from the long form video to the shorts associated with it. That turned out to be very good for me.

@Trevor Jones I am focusing on both shorts and long forms. My shorts RPM is 0,05€ and long forms 1,04€.

In a restaurant
OK, here is one of my shorts. Here is English translation: A man walked into a restaurant and ordered a beer. "Here you go, sir, the beer is one euro." "Only one euro?" the man repeated. He looked at the menu and asked, "And how much would a Wiener schnitzel and a bottle of wine cost?" "Two euros," the waiter replied. "Two euros?" the man repeated. "Could you tell me where the owner of this restaurant is?" The waiter looked at him and said, "Upstairs, with my wife." The man asked, "And what is he doing up there with your wife?" "The same thing I’m doing down here with his restaurant." https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dm1JclAQP-k

@Mike Conneen Yes, the waiter is AI generated. Image is from Freepik. It is generated with Vidnoz AI. After that video is upscaled with CapCut upscale.

@Mike Conneen It's a collection of five jokes, one of them is about a construction worker. Thanks for the comment.
