I had the same problem. Technically, you do not need to verify your website in the app as your website should be up and running without it. The issue I ran into involved updating the site. You r not able to add your own free images and if you do the web page will not save. It appears you have to use the AI in order to generate new images, but it doesn't always work. And the more times you try to update running prompts, the more credits you use. Therefore, I just shifted to WordPress and started building my pages that way.
Domain Verification
Has anyone else been stuck trying to verify their website? I have re-entered the TXT and CNAME fields a dozen times and still am not getting the website verified. Is there something I am missing? How have others gotten past this issue?

@Matthew Zivkovic thanks, but I do not see any instructions in regards to nameservers to point to for CPP. Is there a document someone that outlines this? Thanks.

@Matthew Zivkovic Right you mentioned nameservers which the instructions only show how to update DNS. But the website is up. However the images are not showing and it appears you're not allowed to upload your own images (free images like from pexel.com) as when I do CPP won't save them. And using the AI is hit or miss as it doesn't always update. Which is turn causes you to use a lot of credits due to the AI requests
Domain Verification
Is there any chance that the upgrades to city page pro are going to include fixing the domain verification issue? I am able to use custom domains by setting it up in Netlify but without being able to verify the domain in cpp2 the sitemap function in cpp2 is useless for indexing the web pages. it would be nice to be able to have a site map for a custom domain.

Then there's something that is missing as I have followed each step thoroughly and even retraced my steps to make sure I have not forgotten anything. In the meantime, does anyone have any guide on what I can do? I am not trying to wait a week to get passed this point. Otherwise, I'll have to go back to the old school method of building a website as this is kind of frustrating getting stuck with no one to help.

@Matthew Zivkovic There is an issue if everyone is hitting the same snag with no clue on how to get past it. There is a step left out of the instructions or something was not as detailed as it should because there's no one many of us hit this issue, but there's no issue?
