March to May is the cephalopod mating season in Taiwan’s Northeast Coast! We are about to witness an incredible marine spectacle featuring octopuses, flamboyant cuttlefish, and more! Last week while diving, I encountered a massive octopus! It was so big that my macro lens couldn't fit it all—I could only capture its eye! And that’s not even the craziest part—on the same dive, I saw over 20 bobtail squid babies! I have never seen so many at once before! 🌊 Have you ever dived in Taiwan’s Northeast Coast between March and May? Have you witnessed any incredible cephalopod moments?
