I can start because I am stoked about this one... Had a guest at a co-hosted home this past weekend who had previously asked about checking in 3 hours early. I told them to touch base before their stay to make sure we had the home ready. They did so I let them in early at no charge figuring it was an easy good first impression of their actual stay. Glad I did! Later that night they messaged that they found ants around the stove in the kitchen. Messaged with them and apologized. Next morning they said ants were in a bedroom too so one of their group had to sleep on the couch. Crap... New-ish listing with 20 5-star reviews and this could be our first less than 5. I apologized and even bought some spray and headed out to the home. I should add the owners handle their own pest control. I sprayed, I apologized... It didn;t get better. They had more ants the next morning. Fortunately they seemed understanding. Fast forward to the review coming in and it's a 5-star! They mentioned there were some issues but th host showed up and apologized. No asking for a refund... Just cool folks who know these things happen and didn;t let it ruin their fun.
