🎨 COLOUR POP IS BACK — grab your crayons, this one's a good one!
I have a confession: I've been sitting on this month's reveal for weeks because I was way too excited - I almost couldn't contain myself. Meet our August muse, 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀: the woman who looked at design software and decided it was way too complicated for regular humans (like us), and built Canva instead. No big deal, just a tool now used by millions of us to make pretty things without a design degree in sight. She's straight out of Dezré Little's gorgeous Radiant Ventures Vol. 1 colouring book, which is a whole collection of colouring in pages celebrating 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 "𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲" 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 "𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲." Bold dreams, glow-up stories, quotes that'll hit you right in the chest while you're just trying to stay inside the lines. Here's the bit that inspirec me: Melanie didn't build Canva for designers. She built it for everyone else. The people who never thought "creative" applied to them. That's the whole plot twist. Access over exclusivity. And honestly? That's my kind of claiming-your-space energy. So while you're colouring her in, toss this question around in your head: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵? HOW TO PLAY (still ridiculously simple): 1️⃣ Download the picture below 2️⃣ Colour her in using crayons, gel pens, acrylic - it doesn't matter, there are no rules 3️⃣ Snap a pic + drop it in the comments 🏆 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗘: the winning entry walks away with a 𝗥𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 to treat yourself. 🗓️ 𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦: Entries close: Monday, 31 August 2026 Winner announced: shortly after, so keep this tab open 👀 Grab your pencils, your kid's crayon box, whatever's within arm's reach and let's get colourful. I can't wait to see what she becomes in your hands. Happy colouring!

✨ IT'S WEDNESDAY — PICK YOUR CARD ✨
This week, we have three affirmations and three journal prompts, and one of them probably already caught your eye. This week's cards are all "𝗜 𝗔𝗠" 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. No hidden symbols to decode, no guessing, just three truths, and I want to know which one you need to hear (or claim) today. 💙 Card 1 — I AM DISCIPLINED 💗 Card 2 — I AM WORTHY 💛 Card 3 — I AM ENOUGH **𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬:** 1️⃣ Read all three affirmations 2️⃣ Comment the number that resonates most today 3️⃣ Tell us *why*, what's it stirring up for you? There's no right answer here. The one that pulls at you is usually the one doing the most work under the surface. Each card also comes as a little keepsake for you, with the affirmation on the front, and a personal message & journal prompt (with space to actually write) on the back. Download the card you choose - or all three if you like. Drop your number below, and tell me why it's the one. Can't wait to read your comments.

July's Colour Pop Competition
🦋 INTRODUCING: COLOUR POP: our first-ever MyClearLight competition! Grab your pencils, pull out your gel pens, raid your kid's crayon box!! It's time to get colourful. Here's a confession: colouring in takes me straight back to my childhood. No deadlines, no inbox, no "getting it right" - just colour, focus, and that quiet, happy hum in your brain while you fill in the lines. Turns out that feeling has a name: colouring in is genuinely therapeutic. It's a form of mindfulness. It slows your breathing, quiets the mental chatter, and gets you into a flow state without ever having to sit cross-legged on a cushion. Cheap therapy, no appointment necessary. So for our very first Colour Pop, I am giving you something with a bit more meaning behind it than just pretty lines. Meet this month's artwork: a woman with a butterfly "mask." I chose her for two reasons. A butterfly is the ultimate symbol of metamorphosis. Nobody becomes who they are without a little time in the cocoon first. And a mask? We all wear one. The face we show the world isn't always the one going through the transformation underneath. So as you colour her in, sit with two questions: 🦋 What's the change you're making in your life right now? 🎭 What's the mask you're wearing? Let your colours answer for you. Moody and midnight blue? Bright and defiant orange? Soft, healing pastels? There's no right or wrong here. HOW TO PLAY: 1️⃣ Download the attached picture below 2️⃣ Colour it in. Use any medium, any style, any vibe 3️⃣ Once you're happy with it, snap a photo and attach it in the comments of this post KEY DATES: 🗳️ Voting opens: 30 July (submit your entry before then) 🏆 Winner announced: 1 August I cannot wait to see how each of you interprets her. Let's fill this thread with colour. Happy colouring! 🦋🎨
