Greasy hair
How do i tell of my hair is greasy? I have 1c hair with good density but the individual hair strands are fine. how often should i schampoo?

Flow with a fade or no fade
As you know I have 2C hair and I’m trying to get the flow and I’m not sure whether it will look good with a a type of fade or not faded at all And if it’s good with a fade which ones recommended I currently have a low drop fade Let me know which one I should get I am growing the back out Here’s some images:

I think no fade looks cleaner with longer hair and suits the overall look more

Haircut
I have more of a slicked hairstyle and in growing it out, but my sides always poof out. What do i ask my barber to get tighter look on the side whilst still keeping length?

@Solda Fades yes but the dryness is mostly the bottom half of the hairstrands

Heat protectant
Do i need to use heat protectant when using a blow dryer on the cold setting then finishing it on the hot setting for around 1-2 min?
