My first Vision Board
Have you ever done a vision board? I had always wondered about them but had never had the opportunity to do one until this year. The vision board was just part of the event, we also experienced a sound bath and hypnotherapy session, both of which I had never done either. I really enjoyed the whole experience. In a room of about 20-30 women (and one man) we shared who we were and our goal for 2026. It was fun to cut out photos and think about what was waiting for me this year. Read that last sentence again. Notice that I could have said "what I want to have this year." Want comes from a place of not having and this whole session today was all about envisioning what you already have, you need to drop what's holding you back and grab what is there for you. I would love to read about your experiences with vision boards so go ahead and share if you are comfortable. I'm sharing mine in this thread but don't feel like you need to. I'm also going to add to mine because I thought of some more things that I am expecting this year.

I’m going to a vision board gathering on 1/24
Congratulations....
Watch the video to see who won the roller bottle :) I also would love to know how the challenge was for you? How did you feel after clearing out 'stuff?' Did you feel changes in your mental or emotional energy? Did you take more action than you would have? Please share with the group if you feel comfortable!
Congratulations....

Did you catch this one?
Since this week was another holiday week, you may have missed the most recent episode of Midlife with Courage™ podcast. I talked with Hilary Momberger Powers and even if you don't recognize her name, I'm betting you have heard her voice before. She was the voice of Sally - Charlie Brown's sister in the Peanuts shows as a child. She has an amazing and challenge-filled story that was very inspiring. I love the messages she shares and I think you will too. You can listen to it here: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2402555/episodes/18330501

Amazing!
It's time to De-Clutter!
Earlier this year I shared my experience with decluttering two rooms in my house. After clearing out "stuff" that I didn't need, I found renewed energy pouring in and was able to take action on some things that were making me feel stuck. If you want to listen to the story on my podcast, you can find it HERE. I have noticed my desk once again getting a little mucked up with stuff and I need to clear it again. I thought it would be fun to have a decluttering challenge in this group. I know that I need accountability to get me started and maybe you all are the same way. So let's start a 5-Day Declutter challenge on January 5th. Find a spot in your home, office, car (no judgment) that is collecting stuff. Maybe it's a whole room or a smaller spot like a desk or chair. Think about how you feel when you see it or walk by it. Do you get a tightness in your body? Do you feel overwhelmed? You know you need to clean it up but it's just too much? Let's encourage each other and clear some physical and energetic space. We will start small (literally) and work up to a bit more. Day 1-Donate/throw out/recycle ONE thing. Day 2-Donate/throw out/recycle TWO things. Day 3-Donate/throw out/recycle THREE things. Day 4- Donate/throw out/recycle FOUR things. Day 5-Donate/throw out/recycle FIVE things. Easy right? ***Let's make it even more fun and motivating-post a photo in the group of your daily decluttering and everyone who posts every day will get their name in a drawing for a "Courage" roller bottle.*** Who's in?

I’m in! I went through a couple of bins of seasonal stuff today and started a donation bag. I also went through the clothes hanging in my closet and donated a dress and a dress shirt
Putting Christmas away...
Just in case anyone needs it-today is the 28th of December and it's Sunday 🤣 This week between holidays is always a bit weird. Have you put your Christmas decorations away yet? I started last night with the intention of just doing a little bit-I planned to just collect everything that I had put around the house onto my dining room table. I did this and then the tree was calling to me and before I knew it, the tree was down and in the plastic totes, I have a bag of ornaments that have no sentimental value to be donated, and all the strings of lights are neatly coiled and ready to be stored for another year. Today we will finish up since we are getting a big snowstorm and have zero plans to go anywhere. When do you put away the holiday?

I don’t take the decorations down until after 1/6 so I’ll likely get it done the weekend of 1/10-1/11
