You can now go into your Growth tab (inside your Group Settings) and see what level your community is at, what you need to reach the next level, and the ads Skool is creating for your community! 🎉 I've already seen a few people asking why they're at Level 2 and still aren't seeing their ads, so I wanted to clear that up. On Skool News, they explained that the new ads started rolling out last Friday, and they expect all groups to have their updated ads by the end of this week. So if you're at Level 2 or higher and aren't seeing yours yet, give it a little more time. They're still rolling everything out! Now, I wanted to show you guys something from my own communities. I haven't changed the cover photo in this community since January. I've been wanting to update it, but I decided to wait because I wanted to have something to show you guys once these ads became visible. As you can see in my screenshot, I'm getting enough traffic to qualify, but I really haven't given Skool enough information to work with when creating these ads. PLUS, I am not getting a return for the adspend really well here. Part of being Freemium and Public. We might see some ads generated from what I currently have, but I'm not going to wait around for that lol. Now that I have the screenshot to show you, I'll be updating things pretty soon! You can also see that even in my paid community, where I'm not pushing a ton of traffic right now (soft launch style & I really want people in who understand the value of showing up and asking questions), I've still managed to reach the Level 2 requirements of 100 About Page visitors and at least 1 Skool Network signup in the last 30 days. Well I'm getting ads there! I just don't have all 10 yet, which they also explained could happen during the rollout. A few things to remember: 1. Level 2 unlocks custom ads, but it doesn't guarantee ad spend. Skool still considers how efficiently those ads perform. 2. You might initially see 5 or 6 ads instead of 10 while they finish rolling everything out. 3. Your ads can change as Skool tests different creative angles and formats. 4. If you make significant changes to your cover image, About Page, or pricing, your ads should automatically refresh. They said this generally happens every hour.

If you’ve been on Skool for at least 90 days, check whether you qualify to claim your custom Skool username because some REALLY good usernames are still available. I claimed @jenna early, but I’ve noticed plenty of successful Skool members still have the automatically generated username attached to their profile. To qualify, you need: • 90 contributions • 30 followers • At least 90 days on Skool You only get to change your username once, so don’t just grab something random. Check your name, your full name, or even something related to what you’re known for. I found some pretty surprising ones that are STILL available. @Marty B make sure to grab yours! @Jesse Woltersom actually deserves some credit for this video because his post in Skoolers reminded me of the exact qualifications and I didn't have to work too hard to find that information. The new ChatGPT model came out, and apparently ChatGPT Astra can actually control your computer and take actions for you. Including opening Skool and sending DMs. My Skool Morning Show cohost @Eric Howell tested GPT Astra 6 and told me to check my Skool DMs. I opened them to a message from HIS account that said: “Hello, this is ChatGPT.” And I am not sure how I feel about this. AI agents being able to use your computer opens up some really interesting possibilities. Eric already has ideas for how he could use the new ChatGPT Astra model to automate certain tasks, and I can absolutely see where that could be useful. But having AI actually communicating with people through your Skool account feels different to me. If I get a Skool DM from someone, am I talking to that person? Or could I be talking to their AI agent controlling their computer? That is the part that freaks me out a little. I recorded my reaction right after it happened because I genuinely want to know what other people think about this. Would you use ChatGPT Astra to send messages or take actions inside Skool? And where do you think the line should be between AI helping you and AI acting as you? ...Do you think Sam will find a way to block this?

Don’t assume you already did this. Go check. I’ve checked a LOT of profiles that thought they had, and nope... it wasn’t working! If you want Growth Boost to work for your community, one of the things Skool specifically tells you to do is link your social media profiles to your Skool profile. Why? It helps Skool see what your audience is like. And if your community eventually reaches the stage where your Growth Boost stats are performing really well, Skool may actually look at your social content, clip it, turn it into ads, and run those ads to promote your community. So go to User Menu Drop Down → Settings → Profile → Social Links and add the platforms you use. But here’s the part I really want you to do: ⚠️ Go to your actual Skool profile and CLICK YOUR LINKS. ⚠️ I’ve checked so many profiles where the social icons are there, but when I click them, they don’t actually go to that person’s social media profile. Maybe you changed your username. Maybe something changed with the URL. Maybe it was entered incorrectly. Even if you’re positive you already added them, go check that they actually work. This is one of the easiest Growth Boost tasks you can knock out today, and I’ll be sharing more things you can do to help Growth Boost understand your community and get it in front of more of the right people.
