10 contributions to Zero point mindset
How much space are you giving other people’s opinions?
Here’s something worth remembering: People will always have something to say. You can do everything “right” and someone will still disagree with you, criticize you, or think you should be doing something differently. The goal isn’t to become insensitive. It’s to become more selective about whose opinions deserve your attention. Before taking criticism personally, ask yourself: 👉 Is this constructive? 👉 Is there something I can learn from it? 👉 Does this person genuinely want to help me grow? If yes, listen. If not, let it go. You don’t have to defend yourself against every opinion. You don’t have to explain every decision. And you definitely don’t have to change who you are just to make everyone else comfortable. Listen to feedback. Learn from what’s useful. Release what isn’t. And keep being yourself. Because you will never be liked by everyone. And honestly? That’s okay. 🤍 What’s one opinion you’ve been giving too much importance to lately?

I've always been really influenced by the stoics. If it's outside your control, don't worry about it!
🚦 Today's Challenge: The Traffic Light Method
Have you ever reacted in the heat of the moment... and wished you could take it back just a few minutes later? It happens to all of us. That's why I want to share a simple mindset technique that takes less than 30 seconds. 🚦 The Traffic Light Method 🔴 Red → Stop. Don't reply. Don't hit send. 🟡 Yellow → Ask yourself: "Will what I'm about to say make this situation better... or worse?" 🟢 Green → Now choose your response with intention. Those 20–30 seconds can save you from unnecessary arguments, regret, and words you can't take back. 🎯 Today's Community Challenge Sometime in the next 24 hours, use the Traffic Light Method when you notice a strong emotional reaction. Then come back and share: 💬 What situation were you in? 💬 Did this technique change the way you responded? Every small win matters. Your experience might be exactly what someone else in this community needs to hear.

So true, but also easier said than done. Maybe it's just repetition that would get me better at delaying my reactivity. But interacting with a 4,2,and 4 month old, I am far too quick to have an extreme reaction even when I know I should take the time to de-escalate. Any tips on how to get that pattern interrupt so I can even start taking the time to implement these tools?

When the Noise Is Too Much, Do This for 20 Seconds
Have you noticed how hard it is to find a real moment of silence during the day? Between traffic, notifications, voices, kids, and noisy work environments, the brain stays almost constantly on alert. We can’t always change the noise around us. But we can learn to create small internal pauses. I shared a very simple 20-second technique for exactly this. If you sometimes feel overwhelmed by external noise, try it and tell me how it went. The ability to return to yourself, even in the middle of chaos, can be trained.

Dang how did you know I really needed this today! I love my work I love my kids, but sometimes it gets to be a lot juggling everything at once. Good to take a minute fill the top of my mouth and breathe haha

Do You Feel Guilty in your free time?
For years, I believed that working more hours meant being more productive. The truth was exactly the opposite. The more I sacrificed my free time, the more stressed I became. My creativity dropped. My energy disappeared. And I wasn't enjoying either my work or my life. Today I see free time completely differently. It's not wasted time. It's where your brain recovers, your creativity grows, and your perspective changes. Just like your body needs sleep, your mind needs moments away from work. So here's a question for our community: 👉 What do you do that genuinely helps you disconnect and recharge? I'd love to hear your answers. Sometimes the best ideas come from sharing the simplest habits.

Being a ful time parent and wanting to build things/be an entrepreneur, I've made a shift from my hobbies and leisure time to reserving that for working. While it does make me genuinely happy to feel accomplished and advance my work agenda, I sometimes wonder how I'll shift the balance back and find more time for things like books, games, movies etc. that I was previously enjoying. Balance is a tight rope at this stage of life!
Stop Living on Autopilot – Powerful 90-Second Exercise
Are the desires and values you live with every single day truly yours? Don’t raise your eyebrows, just breathe and try this mini practice… I realized that many of my desires were the result of stimuli I receive from the media. But my real ones? They were much simpler and closer than I thought. And you? Give it a try. If you want, share what you discovered

For me the 3 beliefs were; Provide for my family, Achieve success with my business, and take better care of myself. I have added the last one in more recently as I feel a constant drive to produce/provide/protect, but that wasn't leaving any space for me to ensure my own needs were being met, and I realized i can't accomplish my other goals if I'm not as mentally and physically present as I could be!
