IT'S TIME TO SHINE!
🎬😂 Alright… I had to have a little fun with this one. But let me switch gears for a second— Tonight is different. This is the night before I and many others officially start this college journey… and I’m not walking into it casually. I’m walking in focused. disciplined. and ready to execute. No more guessing. No more wasting time. Everything from this point forward has intention behind it. This isn’t just about school for me. It’s about building something real…for my future, for my family, and for everyone who’s been rocking with me. And if you’ve been watching from the sidelines—this is your moment too. We’re not just students. We’re building momentum, structure, and a network that actually helps people win. Tomorrow it starts for real. Let’s get to work. 🚀 THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

More Laptop Conversation
Apparently Maestro is no longer providing MacBook Air M4. They have pivoted to the MacBook Neo, which I am definitely concerned about. If you aren’t aware, the Neo uses the A18 chip and base model only provides 8gb of ram. This is less than what’s in my IPhone 17 pro max. Kind of disappointed as this is clearly a money saving initiative. The MacBook Air was perfect for what we are doing in regard to specs and cost to the university. Maybe I’m overreacting, but I don’t feel great about this. Let’s use this thread to chat once we start receiving our computers and maybe share what we are doing to make up for the lack of specs.

@Jordan Allison you should write up a petition that everybody here to sign and and then present it to maestro's and see if they would reconsider going with the one that we're going to need and do it on on the basis that we need so much to do what we're doing in school and s*** I bet you could get it f****** overturned and then start sending out the ones they were doing the first time I mean everybody pays enough for the f****** classes and s*** I mean that didn't get a full scholarship I can't really say nothing cuz I did and f****** but for the people that pay I mean s*** they should at least get their money's worth
Update
Finished introductory to python I made a 90 grade A
Update on progress
I'm moving along just fine now getting into the swing of things I think I got a good work schedule for doing lessons I'm all caught up on everything I'm actually doing pretty good everything seems to be pretty simple I'm getting a concepts of everything pretty fast so my lessons are going pretty fast I'm I'm suggesting things that it said that the cover later on so apparently I might be on the right track of thinking which is a surprise to me because I thought I was pretty f****** dumb because I've only ever finished a sixth grade and I only got my GD which I did get my GED before my time I had to wait till I turn 16 just to get it because I was too young to get get it a regularly and the only reason I dropped out of college whenever I got out TYC is because I couldn't get a ride back and forth and this was before online schools came out 97
Week 3 finished on Thursday (a lot of learning)
I was just glancing thru my notes and boy did we do a lot of work this week: if/elif/else, and/or/not, Booleans and comparisons, equality vs identity, nested decisions, decision tables to branching logic, loops and range(), counting iterations, while loop, infinite loop, condition, loop control, break and continue, functions, counters and totals, start/stop/step, indexing and slicing, case clean up, chaining, replace, find, strip/lower/replace/split/join, etc... Ok that's a lot of information in a week not to mention these words I have never heard, Boolean, delimiter. I was like what is that? I made it thru aced the review first time. I was shocked and proud at the same time considering last weeks review I missed one and retook it to ace it, the first week it took me three times to ace it. I wish I had all my notes put in drive I would share them. I will work on getting that done. Good Luck to all of us. I shared all that so you April cohorts could see what you will be dealing with in your 3rd week. I will get better at this teamwork that is all I have for now. PEACE and LOVE, WE GOT THIS! We are all in it together!
