The Power of CommonUnity Tour Columbus, Georgia
Shared purpose and collective growth ignites community impact and during this hour of power, my team and I continue our signature storytelling, spoken word, and experiential exercises to empower audiences to reconnect for the betterment of humanity. Whether you are single or booed-up, you will learn why communication and leadership are essential as our world shifts to a more cooperative existence. Our Emcee and spoken word artist have collaborated with me over the past year in the Relationship Wellness Series. Amanda Burgmon, The Separation Doula will drop relationship nuggets throughout this hour of power while Kai Bullock, Embodiment Coach will help our audience tune-in to the frequency of Love. I will close us out with thought provoking and soul inspiring stories that bring home the message of CommonUnity. We invite our members to register today at http://powerofcommonunitycolumbus.eventbrite.com Stay tuned for our recent interview on Street Talk with Loretta Rose.

A reflection for every relationship
"Anybody can be great because any body can serve." Dr. Martin Luther Ming Jr. Sometimes we need to simplify things. As human beings we often get caught up in doing. Writing lists of tasks. Checking off the tasks we complete. Hurting ourselves when we don't. Blaming others when we can't remember why we didn't. And the viscous cycle goes on and on. In relationships it's good to remember that we attract who we are and we choose who compliments us. With this in mind, it should be easy to serve who we choose. Love our reflection as we love ourselves. As we begin a new week, may we each remember that greatness comes through service which by the way is the greatest act of love. And when we love our partners as we love ourselves we are living in divine order.

Relate: What does this word mean to you?
Let's get this conversation started. When we look at the word relationship is always good to be clear on what we're actually talking about. What comes to mind for you? Comment below.

@Eva Elam absolutely! This diatic dance of empathy is deep, not superficial in nature. It asks questions like, I wander how she/he feels or I wander how I can make it better. Have you ever experience feeling imbalance in a relationship. If so, how did it make you feel?

@Eva Elam thanks for being open and authentic with the group. The way you are managing relationship imbalance is to be commended. Your actions are demonstrating how self awareness and empathy absolutely support relationship wellness. We are not meant to change our partners nor are we to lose our own identity as we grow together. Your husband sees you and I'm sure he and your family appreciates your showcase of personal development.
