I am struggling to know how to handle my child’s over sensitive conscience. She is constantly coming to me saying that she didn’t follow my instructions to the T. And at night it’s like she has to make sure to apologize for everything she maybe did wrong that day. I am thankful for her sensitive spirit, but at the same time it becomes overwhelming to me and I don’t feel true sorrow on her part because it is just becoming a coping thing for her. She often says she doesn’t want to feel like a bad girl. So I need wisdom on loving her through this and not becoming frustrated with her when it is the 20th time she has come to me made sure that I know she brushed her teeth, combed her hair, and didn’t just get dressed like I ask. I want to lead her to peace for her body, mind, and soul.

@Elise Ashurst I live 45 mins SW of Kalamazoo. So we live pretty close to each other… I live 20 mins from three rivers if you know where that is. That seems like a big transition for all involved! I pray that you all are able to find a good community to be a part of! Do your kids go to school or homeschool?

Little late to the discussion here… but listened the Freedom Module this morning and wow! I struggle with not manipulating the choices I give to my children. Like I give one choice so that they pick the choice i want them to choose. I loved the thoughts @Katie Johnson had about picking two choices you are ok with and then letting the kids decide with true freedom. I need to work on this! 🙏🏻🤍

I have been so sad that I have not been able to make it to one of the live calls. It is at 3:30pm my time and that is in the midst of dinner prep for me… but I am hoping to catch up soon by listening to the recording of them! 🤍
